Compete.com Offering $100 Coupon

February 5, 2010

Summary

Through February 19, Compete.com have two similar promotions running for $100 off any subscription package.

For many of you website owners, I’m sure you’ve heard of Compete.comCompete is a website where you can compare your site to other similar sites to get an idea of what your goals should be.  In addition, depending on the subscription packages which range from free to over $500, you can use their tools to identify non-saturated niches as well as search analytics.

I’ve used the free version Compete occasionally to see where my weather website ranked compared to other similar sites.  I’ve never taken the time to try the paid services so I couldn’t say one way or another if they’re worth it.  In reading several non-affiliated reviews(social media explorer, Search Commander Blog, Matt Cutts), it seems like it could be worth giving it a shot.  Especially if you are just looking into building a website or even an affiliate campaign, this could be one of those tools that can help you identify if you’re breaking into a small market or a heavily-diluted one.

I received an email Thursday for $100 off any of the paid subscription services.  Just enter code Save100.  That coupon code expires February 19, 2010.  It’s not a unique deal that only I or other newsletter subscribers are pervy to; a look at their site today and they’re offering the same promotion with the coupon code Advanced.  The latter expires the same day (Feb 19, 2010).

(In case you are wondering, the different promotion codes are simply so they can track where sales originate.  Neither of these promotion codes were specifically designated for my website visitors).
